Fishing Report - March 26th, Saturday

Let the Dolphin Season Begin!

Fished out of Palm Beach with good friend Rene Jaimes and his Girlfriend Jennifer Smith .After spending 3 hours out in the 2000 ft range, we decided to pick up and come in and see if the conditions had changed since we passed through in the morning. Found a beautiful edge with thick weed in 550 ft. The action started as we began to pick them off. Then we found a Loogerhead Turtle swimming just below the surface with a School of Dolphin in tow. Of course the "fire drill" started with of course us not being prepared for such an event! Springing into action we cut up a box of squid for chumming, tipped the hooks, and it was off to the Races! Bottom line was 8-fish in the boat; dropped at the boat at least as many due to us not being prepared and not having the proper Rigging in place; as well as Snapping the line on a Beautiful little 20-lb Bull. All in All a great day!
